There are 17 wintry fun reasons why you need to put aside this weekend for the Pacific Werribee Winter Wonderland annual Community Fair. And they are all highlighted on this wonderful map.

Winter fun is about to begin from Saturday June 24- Sunday June 25 during centre hours. Pacific Werribee Centre Management has said, "We are bringing together members from the ever-expanding community for a fun-filled weekend of free activities, entertainment and an AFL star appearance. A synthetic ice-skating rink will be installed to keep the kids (and those young at heart) entertained for hours and shoppers will also be able to watch on in awe at the live sculpture carving from 11am-3pm on Saturday. Football fans of the West will also be given the opportunity to meet Richmond Football Club star Dustin Martin, who will be in-centre between 1pm-3pm on Saturday."

Now, be careful not to fall while skating, because there are events all day on both Saturday and Sunday. And bring your footie scarf and pen; you might get lucky and get a signature. And if that is not fun activities enough, kids are welcome to showcase their creative flair in the Kids Winter Craft Village. Then before you start to fill your tummy with yummy treats around the place, have a bouncy bounce on the Toys R Us trampoline.

There will be a handball competition at the Werribee Tigers Football Club where you can show them your footie best. Cooking demonstrations will be on for the young and old. After this mum will get a rest in the kitchen since you will be helping with the cooking with all your new chef techniques. And then you can lift your skill again, and get gourmet cooking lessons from Laura Cassai. Healthy and yummy tastings will be available from the Lorna Jane Cookbook.

What about a chance to mix your own smoothie by riding a Smoothie Bike? You get to create your own special blend and work off the calories at the same time. That's a zero gain win.

For those of us who feel all products from the cow are just the best gift to mankind, relax and enjoy a cheese making demonstration. After which you can enjoy a delightful San Churro hot chocolate or a hot apple cider, while the kids play in the Winter Wonderland POP-UP Park. There will be thrills and spills.

But then it will be time to get sticky again, at the Baker's Delight Finger Bun Decorating Station. Once you have licked your fingers, it's time to head for the Scavenger Hunt at the Wyndham Library.

And all the time you are wandering around enjoying the Winter Wonderland festivities, local acoustic entertainment will keep the spirit bright on the Community Stage with live performances.

Then you can sneak a peek at the endangered species 'Close Encounters Exhibition' and see some awesome animals in their little habitats. Be careful not to take flash photos and hurt their cute little eyes.

Other activities include the Wyndham Recycling Education pop-up and then once you have bought something old that is made new again, you can add to your wonderful new look but getting your face painted and styling your own matching balloon. Then sit back and watch the Werribee Table Tennis Association showcase their skills.

Bring your re-usable bags, because you are going to need them for all the kit and craft you will taking on, because you are going to be surrounded by stocktake and huge discounts and specials.
