Artisan makers of traditional British fare
Images - Pacdon Park
Pacdon Park are artisan makers of traditional British fare and are based by the Mighty Murray River in Echuca Moama whilst living and farming in rural NSW. They bring you the very best of British Foods down Under, producing goods using the very best locally-sourced ingredients.
They specialise in crafting their range of gourmet traditional British pork products in their specially built factory where British Melton-Mowbray style pork pies, gala pies, gourmet free-range pork sausages, black puddings, haggis and streaky bacon are lovingly produced.
While still attending Victorian farmers markets as per normal at this stage, operating via safe physical distancing and staying cashless where possible, you can also order ahead and pick up at the market, or get them to home deliver. Home delivery is available directly to your door via their refrigerated courier throughout a lot of Victoria and Sydney Metro. You can also check out the Sydney and Melbourne Stockists and Farmers Markets they attend HERE. For delivery areasSEE HERE, and of course they do deliver locally in Echuca-Moama.
They are waiving the delivery fee for orders above $100 in other areas, and orders above $30 for locals in the Echuca-Moama area. All of their produce can be frozen for 6 months which makes it handy for meeting the free delivery quota and not adding to your food bill. CLICK HERE to ORDER online. If you have any questions at all please call them on 03 5480 9645 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
If you're heading straight to the Factory Shop in Moama which is still open, you'll find the Production/Factory shop at 464 Perricoota Rd, Moama, NSW and the Pork Pie and Produce Store at 586 High St, Echuca (03 5480 9645). Call them for enquiries or use the form online to contact them. If you'd like a couple of recipes, SEE HERE where you can download recipes in .pdf format. Stay in touch via Facebook for updates and interesting content.
Grab yourself some beautifully made produce like the pork pie, traditionally eaten cold with a bit of mustard and a cold beer. Get your ancient food like black pudding which was first described in Homer's Odessey in around 800BC. It's a real delight and an essential part of any cooked brekky. Australia's only award-winning haggis, a true Highland Haggis is also made by Pacdon, using local lamb pluck and flank.
How about Pacdon's Irish recipe white pudding made using local beef suet, oats, cream and bacon. Have it for brekky or use it as stuffing. Then there's the dry-cured unsmoked streaky bacon, cold smoked bacon and gammon steaks and boiling joints. Gammon is not something you'll easily find in a supermarket. British style pork sausages and bespoke products complete the round of fantastic British produce from Pacdon Park. With so much deliciousness on offer, it's not difficult to order up and save on delivery fees.
