Keep your pet on trend with luxury accessories to die for
For the style conscious four legged fashionistas, Pablo and Co Boutique have the accessories you and your pet will need to stand out from the crowd and sashay down to the dog park in style.
Background There is no doubt that we love our pets and are happy to spend money keeping them happy and healthy. Business statistics show that globally, the pet care market has grown to $261 billion in 2022 - up from $245 billion in 2021. An estimated 6.1% compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) will catapult that figure to $350 billion by 2027. This has coincided with the "pet parenting" trend, in which pet owners treat their pets as family members
In this context, Pablo and Co is an Australian-based pet accessories boutique business that formed in late 2016 as the new cool kid on the block. It pays homage to its namesake Pablo, a long haired black and tan miniature dachshund and the inspiration and cover-dog for the brand.
About The Pablo and Co Boutique As a pawrent, I am always interested to find new pet accessories and style up my pooch on special and not so special occasions, so I was keen to visit the Pablo and Co store in Kedron and discover its range. The Kedron street signage led me to the store, which is located in a small industrial area (close to Kitchener Road) in a row of warehouses.
After stepping up the trio of front steps, past the faux cactus plant and opening the door, the idea of industrial soon disappears. The neon sign on the back wall said it all, "cool dogs shop here" - so I knew I was in the right place. The vivid pastel pink interior painted store oozes fun and beauty.
Pablo and Co specialises in fashionable leads, collars and harnesses for dogs (and cats) in a full colour wheel of varieties and styles. From bears to chickens, there is certainly a huge variety to choose from in sizes ranging from small, medium and large to make adventures fun, safe and fashionable.
Pablo and Co doesn't mind a touch of humour. There's even a range called the Lil' Shit Collection, which dog owners will fully appreciate at those forgivable times when shoes are eaten, food is stolen and boundaries are tested. Or maybe your fancy the Bogan Range.
One of the standouts in the range is the Disney collection of leads, collars and harnesses. Of course, leading the style parade is Mickey and Minnie Mouse alongside, Winnie the Pooh and Friends, Snow White and more. How cute.
If you are unsure of the size for your pooch, the store has caringly installed a special fitting bench where your pup can try on the adjustable harnesses to check that they fit properly and are comfortable. The store assistants are happy to help to provide product advice during the fitting. Just be sure to be aware of the Returns Policy since Pablo and Co do not offer refunds on returns - only store credit and exchanges.
If you think all the fun and fashion is reserved for the four leggeds, think again. There are also accessories for the pet loving human including pooch loving cards in its own card nook where you can step into a little cave of cards and select the pawfect greeting card for every occasion.
If you still need more pooch paraphernalia, be sure to check out the selection of books, breed specific socks, poo bag pouches
tote bags, dog shaped earrings and car hammocks to keep everyone safe and comfortable during road trips.
Whether you have a four legged family member, are thinking of getting one or want to find something special for someone who does, a trip to Pablo and Co is a must. There is lots of free parking at the front of the shop and needless to say pups are welcomed with open arms.
Pablo and Co Boutique is located at 1D/75 Araluen St, Kedron QLD 4031 (near the Fuzzy Duck cafe). If you can't make it to Kedron, you also check out their online site here.
