I'm a freelance writer living on the Sunshine Coast.
Event: -
Indie Pop Up Party
Normally I write about family events, but you have to be 18 or over to attend this one on Saturday 23rd January at Miami Tavern Gold Coast (photo ID required) from 1pm and Sunday 24th January at Maroochydore's Waterfront Hotel (photo ID required) from 1pm. I've heard of pop up shops but never a pop up music festival. The summer beach theme means the dress code will be thongs and swimwear - perfect for the Australia Day weekend! It's also a great way to celebrate young and talented independent Australian musicians.
