Brace yourselves good people of Melbourne, Oz Comic-Con 2015 is merely 3 weeks away and it is set to be an epic weekend of all things Cosplay, sci-fi, fantasy, gaming, comics, and popular TV and film culture.

Now in its third year, Oz Comic-Con Melbourne moves to a new location in 2015, heading to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday June 27 and Sunday June 28; a change from previous year's events that took place at the Royal Exhibition Hall in Carlton.
With exclusive Q&A sessions, panel interviews and celebrity dinner tickets, Oz Comic-Con brings you closer to your TV, film and voice-over stars and provides a chance to meet and greet some of the big names in the world of comics.
Guest appearances at this year's Oz Comic-Con will include Jason Momoa, best known for his role as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, as well as in Stargate: Atlantis and for his upcoming major role playing DC's Aquaman. Momoa will be joined by Stephen Hunter (The Hobbit), Amber Benson and Emma Caulfield (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Billy Boyd and David Wenham (Lord of the Rings), Joe Flanigan and David Nykl (Stargate: Atlantis), Wilson Bethel (Hart of Dixie), Naomi Grossman (American Horror Story), Jewel Staite (Firefly) and Terry Farrell (Star Trek: Deep Space 9) with more to be announced over the coming weeks.
Oz Comic-Con is one of the largest Cosplay showcases of the year, and in 2015, The Oz Comic-Con Australian Championships of Cosplay will take place at each Oz Comic-Con event. Qualifying winners from Melbourne will join Cosplay victors from Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney to compete in the final round at Oz Comic-Con Sydney, with the overall winner crowned the Australian Champion of Cosplay. The Australian Champion of Cosplay will then represent Australia in the 2016 C2E2 Crown Championships of Cosplay in Chicago, in an effort to beat some of the best Cosplayers in the world to win the overall Crown Cosplay Competition Circuit. Cosplay aside, Oz Comic-Con always brings forth a mammoth variety of collectables and merchandise to buy, as well as gaming zones and family friendly fun.
