Take my critique with a pinch of salt, please. Is there any way to justify the taste of Truffle Fries? For some reason, it seem to have ignited a wave of enthusiasm over the flavour and if they live up the culinary hype. After all the ballyhoo, I just felt that they were normal chips with the scent of truffle oil that lingers in your taste buds. Am I being snobby about this? - All I know, truffles are snob food and it only seems wise not to celebrate them with fries.
