Got a large age-range family? Park solution found
Logan City has a brand new park, Outlook Park, located in a growing master planned community in Park Ridge. Take advantage of this park's current anonymity as once the secret is out it is sure to become popular with kids and adults of all ages.

The best thing about this park is that it caters for multi-age families. Bigger kids will enjoy the climbing frame with scramble nets, mariner's rope, and a bridge net leading to a steep slide.

There is a special play zone for toddlers and little kids. The house frame and animals will encourage little imaginations to grow, whilst the swing, stairs and sliding fixtures will help develop motor skills. Expect plenty of sand to be snuck home in kid's shoes.

A range of swings will keep the whole family happy. Tweens and teens who might be beyond swings can shoot some hoops on the basketball half-court.

Bring a ball to kick around on the open green. This space is calling for a kite to be brought out on a windy day.

Green open space to let kids run free

There has been a lot of thought gone into the planning and landscape design of Outlook Park. As the trees mature beautiful arbours will form around the boundary of the park. Large sandstone boulders make for ideal bench seats. There are a number of sheltered picnic tables around the park, however you will need to make sure your picnic is cooking-free with the absence of barbeques.

Outlook Park is located on the corner of East Beaumont Road and Chambers Flat Road, Park Ridge in "The Rise" estate. As this area is still developing you will need to remember to bring everything needed for lunch (including empty bladders) as there are limited shops in the near vicinity and no toilet facilities in the park. Outlook Park is well worth the visit for families of all sizes and age ranges.
