Summer in Perth would not be the same without outdoor movies. Sitting back with a picnic enjoying time out with a group of friends or the family is a great way to chill out on a warm Perth evening. I love it!

Obviously, there are loads of BIG movie places that have outdoor cinema options, my favs being Luna in Leederville, Burswood and Kings Park. However, our outlying Perth Suburbs aren't missing out this year either! Below is a quick wrap up of three outdoor movies locations you might like to check out this Summer season in the 'burbs.

1. Kookaburra Outdoor Cinema - Mundaring
This is one of my all time favourites. Watching a movie on gorgeous old deck chairs amongst the trees. Their season kicks off on the 18th November as they celebrate 20 years!

2. Bassendean Outdoor Community Cinemas for Telethon
Located at BIC Reserve corner Guildford Road and Wilson Street in Bassendean the season kicks off on 10 December and is a great family friendly location.

They also have locations at Burswood and Murdoch too and all money goes to a great cause - WINNING!

3. The Reef at Two Rocks Summer Film Fest - FREE.

It is always nice to find some free events around the place! The Reef at Two Rocks is hosting four family friendly movies through the months of November and December for those who live in our Northern suburbs. The season kicks off this Friday 4th November with Oddball and other dates include 18th November, 2nd December and 16th December.
