Outback Jacks Bar and Grill
Dine in Aussie Style with Meat Galore

Outback Jacks Bar and Grill is a chain of restaurants, one of which is located at Glendale. We went there for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the cosy atmosphere of the place. We were shown to our seat by someone at the front desk and were immediately offered a baby seat for my daughter and even some crayons and a coloring in sheet to keep her entertained.

Entertainment for the kiddies.

There was seating for groups of all sizes and more private seating for those who want a more one on one dining experience. We dined under the giant crocodile that hung on the ceiling and my daughter had lots of fun pointing in amazement at the giant crocodile above her.

Dining under the gaze of a crocodile.
Who would have thought it'd be this fun?

The menu was varied, with all sorts of meat and sides. There is crocodile and kangaroo for the more adventurous or chicken or beef for those who are creatures of habit. There is a separate menu for the kids and a good selection of drinks.

We had Jacks Cheese N' Chips, which are chips layered with cheese, bacon and sauce. These chips feel like they're melting in your mouth and there was plenty to share between two or even more.

For the main course we had a chicken burger with chips and the Aussie Porterhouse with steak, topped with egg and bacon.

You really are spoiled for choice at Outback Jacks, so much so that I had trouble choosing. The food is tasty and the value for money spent is excellent. I would recommend Outback Jacks for a family dining experience because they really are child friendly. I would also recommend it for get togethers, a date or anytime you feel like a good, filling meal.
