I had the pleasure of attending this amazing and exciting performance from Night Sky Theatre Co.

The play is inspired by recent domestic violence tragedies and male mental health issues. The play was flawless and the performers executed the play with perfected acting that it made you, the audience, feel as if you were part of the play and relate to the mental issues and emotions...

Out of Fear is a psychological exposition of a man trapped by his own guilt and delusion, grappling with issues that are very common to many of us. It is part realism, part surrealism.

After Travis runs away from his city life to the outback of New South Wales he tries to come to terms with his past actions and attempts to find redemption. Without ruining the play, Travis is alone and is trying to uncover the reason why he is alone and exactly what led him to leave his family.

It really conveys one man's desires, fear of losing control and how just one reaction can ignite madness...

It a dark fantasy with a mix of black humour and tragedy, this is one performance not to be missed!

The play deals with subjects of 'sensitive' and 'emotional' issues of family, mental illness, and isolation within an Australian context.

This freshly written work juxtaposes subjects of love, divorce, and isolation, along with highlighting the repercussions that these themes may have.

It is certainly 'one of a kind' theatre performance by helping to create awareness of Domestic Abuse in Australia, regardless of the gender of the abused. This stage production is about taking a closer look inside isolation and desperation that many men experience and if things remain silent then there will always be problems...

Out of fear portrays savage personal disasters when life does not meet expectations, as highlighted by a quote from the main character Travis: "You will work all your life for that bit of string, without compromise because we see what we supposedly want, but in the end it's nothing, there's no more string."

It is a captivating and amazing play to see, so be sure not to miss this performance!
