To teach, recognise and celebrate multiculturalism and diversity to little ones in their early years, Our Little World Festival is a multicultural arts festival for families with children under 5, to be held on Saturday 20th June 2015 from 10am to 12pm at the historic Midland Town Hall at 39 Old Great Northern Hwy, Midland.


Organised by the Guildford Family Playgroup and sponsored by the City of Swan, this free family festival encourages families from all different cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds to join in with local community playgroups and promote worldliness.

There are many activities to participate in at the event, including Zumba for children, multicultural art and craft activities, story time, babies corner, music workshops,an animal farm, face painting, balloon twisting, an international dress up photo booth and much more. Families can also enjoy international food tastings, watch music and dance performances and contribute towards a collaborative Indigenous art canvas.


Many other local playgroups will be present at the festival to host activity stalls to showcase their cultural diversity. Some organisations who will be participating include Playgroup WA, Midland Library, the Midland Toy Library, Midland Hub, Brockman House, Pitter Patter Music Together and others.
