Lots of kids activities at bi-annual carnival
The bi-annual Our Lady of the Angels' School Carnival will be held on Sunday 21st July 2019 from 10.00am through to 4.00pm. Each carnival is an enhancement on the previous event with an increased line-up of children's rides, games, entertainment and delicious food. Adults can start with a coffee to warm up on a cool winter's morning and finish off with a drink from the bar in the afternoon.

Our Lady of the Angels' Primary School was opened in January 1950 with the Presentation Sisters running the school until the mid-1990s. Their passion to educate was inspired by their Irish founder Nano Nagle, who was well-known as the Lady with the Lantern. Nano worked tirelessly to bring comfort to those in need, whether day or night and the lantern became the symbol for Our Lady of the Angels' School, where the motto "Shine with Life, Learn with Love, Grow with God" is a symbol of nurturing the school provides.
Currently, with approximately 580 students, Our Lady of the Angels' Catholic School is located at 30 Warraba Avenue, Wavell Heights to the north of Brisbane City.
