If you want a ring for someone special, you could just go to a very nice jeweller and buy one. But then it would be very pretty but also one that is just like everyone else's. Want to be special and have a unique ring? Then you're going to want to head to this incredibly fun Ring Making Workshop in gold or silver and make something beautiful, unique and handmade.



This a very fantastic way to make two or more special rings. You could be making them to give to someone special or making them to wear yourself. These handmade rings will be so beautiful and it's a beginner-friendly class that will allow you to make something that you will cherish. Under the guidance of real, local jewellers, you will be able to make your rings however you want to. You get the chance to choose the texture, the finish, and other personal touches. You can even personalise it further by adding an inscription. This is perfect if you are going to give a ring to someone special. Think about adding a special date or the name of someone if you are going to give it them.

Usually, you will be working on silver and learn all about the fundamentals of silver smithing. But if you want to, you can work on 9ct gold instead. You can pre-purchase the 9cy upgrade on the day or choose to do so on the day. Either way, you will be making your jewellery that will be of a professional level by the end of the workshop. Your pieces will be crafted however you want, to make them suit your style and allow you to cherish someone or something special. All of the materials and equipment will be provided, you just have to show up and give it a go.

This workshop is very fun and easy to follow. It is designed to be beginner-friendly, as well as being friendly, relaxed and easy to follow along. Throughout the class, you will make at least two rings but you might be able to make more if you are feeling confident. The workshop runs between 2 and 3 hours and you will leave knowing everything you need to know about making rings.
If you want to make this beautiful ring collection, you will want to head to the Our Folk Studios in Fremantle. There are several workshops running, the first is on Saturday, October 5th and they are on almost every weekend (either Saturday or Sunday) between then and Sunday, November 4th. Check the website for other dates. Every workshop runs between 10am and approximately 12:30pm. Tickets start at $185 for the silver rings, and $365 for the gold tickets. Save some money by bringing a friend and then you get $50 off the ticket price. For this price you can make at least 2 rings of your chosen metal, so make sure to make as many as possible for the money! And make your rings 'Your Precious!'
