The Redlands has a new cafe for those who enjoy their regular coffee fix or prefer to start the day with a cooked breakfast.

Operating since last December, Oso Espresso at the Ormiston Shopping Village is gaining a reputation for its prompt takeaway service, home-styled cooking, and damn fine coffee.

Yes, the coffee is good.



Open from 6am till 1pm 7 days a week, we were pleased to spy some different options on the all day breakfast menu. We each stuck to our favourites this visit but vow to sample something new next time.



Note that Vegan and Gluten Free options are available from the menu.





A selection of seasonal sweets is also available from the cake cabinet. I must admit to being impressed by my ability to ignore the contents - this time.



Oso Espresso is located at 116 Wellington Street, Ormiston. It is easy walking distance to the train station as well as the Cleveland Harbour foreshore and has ample onsite car parking. It is a light and airy venue which adds to it being a good spot for catching up with friends.
