Living in Orlando and driving past the at least once a week, I was curious to see how what the view from the Eye would be like. It is "sisters" with the London Eye and I loved the whole experience of that, so a few friends and I decided that afternoon we would go.

We went at around 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised to discover there was no queue so we could just walk straight through. Before we got onto the actual Eye, they took a series of photos of our group with funny props that was fun. Then they led us to the Eye. Our pod had a little cooler filled with Coke which was a nice touch.

The whole ride took about half an hour. The actual ride is 400ft tall and offers views 360ยบ views of Central Florida. The views were fantastic! We could see all of the Disney and Universal Parks which was cool. After the ride, we were taken to a gift shop with a huge range of souvenirs.

I cannot describe how amazing it is to see a unique view of Orlando. Where the Eye is located, they also have a Madame Tussauds, Legoland and Sea-Life Orlando. They offer group tickets for these attractions so you can spend the day there and check out all of the parks. If you're in Orlando and bored of the usual Disney parks then it is a great day out! It is also a unique attraction for ages.
