Indulging in fresh and delicious fish and chips
Dining at or a takeaway from the Original Victor Harbor Fish Shop is a must when visiting Victor Harbor. It is conveniently located in the heart of town on Ocean Street itself and has won multiple awards for its exceptional food and great service.

I was recently back in Victor Harbor for a couple of days and of course popped in to get my fill of fish and chips. We ordered a main butterfish, an entree barramundi and two kids meals. The service could not be flawed. All our meals came out in no time. It's been a while since I was last there but the fish was just as fresh and delicious as I'd remembered it. The mains and entrees are both served with beautiful garden salad and chips. Besides butterfish and barramundi, there's also flake, garfish, flathead, calamari, prawns, scallops and squid to choose from.

One thing to note, though, if you're a tourist visiting from overseas is that it is not uncommon for the dine-in menu to be different from the takeaway menu. And, for takeaway, you are welcome to sit and eat on any of the outdoor tables in front of the shop.

Thank you Original Victor Harbor Fish Shop, I will be back.
