The delicious delights made at the Oriental Teahouse can be found at any of its four branches, located in Melbourne Central Shopping Centre, South Yarra, Chadstone and Little Collins Street, Melbourne CBD.
Known for its array of tantalising teas and freshly made yum cha, the food and drink here does not disappoint. The quirky restaurants are decked out like shops, where 60 of its amazing teas are set out and are available to buy. Some of the fragrant iced teas include, peach melba, raspberry lime, strawberry cream and many more, all of which are refreshingly tasty. There's also a huge range of white, green and fruit teas, to please all kinds of taste buds, as well as signature blends concocted by Oriental Teahouse founder David Zhou.
Once you've picked the perfect drink, the equally diverse food menu will also leave you spoilt for choice. Some of the tastiest options include the Claypot Chilli Pork Dumplings, which have a fiery kick to them. There's also the Szechuan pepper chicken, which comes in a flavoursome sauce, and the ginger prawn dumplings are a must-try too.
The food is very reasonably priced, especially for the quality, which is hard to be beaten. Dumplings start from $4.90, and mixed baskets start from just $6.90. The friendly waiters are all very helpful and attentive when it comes to keeping customers happy.
There's so much to try at the Oriental Teahouse, so I'd advise taking a few people along with you and share as much of the menu as you can manage. For a full list of location addresses and to view the menu visit Oriental Teahouse
