Located 1 hour west of Sydney, in Springwood in the lower Blue Mountains, is the award-winning Ori Café.

Housed within Springwood's Oriental Hotel which was established in 1891, the hotel was the built in the Blue Mountains and has a heritage style look and feel, with a warm and welcoming interior.

The Ori Café offers a unique Modern Australian menu using the freshest produce available and at affordable prices, and has received many accolades over the years for being one of the best restaurants in the pub, club and tavern category in NSW.

A solid favourite amongst locals, the café delivers a relaxed and warm ambiance with a great menu of well executed classics and inspired creations for a pub style café.

Offering restaurant style quality meals such as chicken curry, smoked salmon rosti with feta, semi-dried tomato and rocket, swordfish fillets and slow roasted pork, to simple café style wraps steak sandwiches and salads, there is something to suit every taste and budget.

The steak sandwich and chips is tasty, served on Turkish toast with salad, beetroot, cheese and the special touch – béarnaise sauce is delicious, as well as generously portioned.

The deep fried Parmesan eggplant fritters were juicy and flavoursome, and paired with a lovely Mediterranean style capsicum dip and yoghurt dip.

The Club Sandwich is also great, and when paired with potato wedges with special Ori sauce – a combination of sour cream and sweet chilli, is a good tummy filler.

The café has both indoor and outdoor seating so is perfect all year round regardless of the weather, and is also child friendly.
The menu changes regularly to offer the best seasonal produce and variety, and staff are friendly, helpful and attentive.

Next time you are driving up to the Blue Mountains, make a pit stop at the Ori Café for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
