Some of the acts include Amsterdam's Apollo Ensemble, Italy's Trio Leonardo and organist David Drury joined by Davide Monti, Livia Rado and Filippo Perocco.
The festival is staged around the use of the heritage pipe organs which still exist in some of the churches. The program features other musical instruments, choirs and solo voice playing music from many centuries from the High Renaissance to the present day. The list of the various performances can be found here.
Festival director Sergio de Piere said "The festival was as much a cultural event as much as it was a celebration of organs".
If you are a lover of fine music; head to the annual Organs of the Ballarat Goldfields Festival which will be held from 10 to 19 January 2014.
