Melbourne has so much to offer. I love experiencing new places and events and sharing them with you.
I have an interest in gluten free, vegan and vegetarian diets so I will let you know if you these can be catered for in my reviews.

Organic Edge is a little surprise in a relatively newly developed part of Melbourne's inner west. There is an Aldi there, a butcher, a fruit shop. On the other side of the carpark there is a little strip of shops which has a couple of cafes and restaurants where Organic Edge is.
I've been in there before, when they first opened. Perhaps it was too early, the range of goods was small and mostly fresh fruit and vegetables. I had a totally different experience today.
First of all, there is a café. Now I'm sure I wouldn't have missed that before. Organic coffee is available. There are sweet treats on display on the counter or menus on the table for a meal. You can choose to sit inside or out.
I was greeted as I walked in the door. On the menu are various sandwiches (toasted or fresh) wraps and ciabattas, as well as a few light meals and specials. They all look reasonably priced, especially for organic, for example $7 for a sandwich.
My coffee was perfect and served with a smile. I had a small vegan, gluten free sweet and sat outside, where you could easily sit with your dogs, your friend or a good book.
There was plenty of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free products and also there was a small range of organic meats.
I noticed there were quite busy on a weekday and why not? Although you can get organics at Aldi, this store has a far greater range, better service and a cafe to satisfy your healthy organic palate where you might least expect it!
