The Organic Corner Store's weekly organic market and produce co-op is held every Thursday, from 9am - 1pm and from September 12th - this market is moving to Glenelg North Community Centre; please see here for details:
Be massaged by Onessa who is certified in Aroma Touch Technique & uses dōTerra Essential Oils which are available for sale. The toilets nearby smell absolutely devine thanks to Onessa's aromatherapy!
Great things to do while you're at at one of Organic Corner Store's market days is to treat yourself to an all over massage by David of Be Kneaded Massage or an aromatherapy foot massage by Onessa of dōTerra Essential Oils.
Sunrayia's Himalayan Crystal Salt stall where Himalayan salt lamps can be purchased (including those that have USB plug-in).
Be tempted by Sunrayia's huge range of Himalayan salt lamps. Connie of Tri Nature will happily assist you in stocking up on your cleaning products with their range of 100% Australian made, environmentally friendly cleaning products.
Keep an eye out for Hornet Foods catering van - it's hard to miss!
Weather permitting, soak in some rays and vitamin D whilst dining on one of Hornet Foods delectable dishes (vegetarian available). Make sure you enjoy a memorable mocha etc. from Great Relish Nomadic Cafe who only uses milk from Tweedvale or Paris Creek dairies.
I really enjoyed this chorizo roll from Hornet Foods, which was topped with an ample serving of Hornet Sauce (bottled Hornet Sauce is available for purchase).
If you want to find out more about this fantastic community and ethically minded organic market and produce co-op, check out its informative website: www.organiccornerstore.com.au which also comprehensively details each stallholder.
To save you some time, I've listed the stallholders A-Z as follows:
Organic Corner Store (OCS) coordinates its own produce co-op. On this visit more than 120 boxes of certified organic vegetables & fruit were ordered by its members at $25 per box (excluding $10 refundable deposit for box & $2.50 supply fee). This is a not for profit co-op.
A true community innovation, Organic Corner Store's Produce Co-op came about when Organic Corner Store Manager, Aasha Shaw identified demand and opportunity to meet members needs with affordable, quality certified organic fruit and vegetable produce. Volunteers are always appreciated to pack the weekly orders which in turn keeps the overheads and prices down.
Triple B Biodynamic Beef currently only sell to the public at the Organic Corner Store & online. Producers Liam & Madeleine Burns believe in the Food Mile diet. The Burns cattle are treated humanely, with respect & dignity. Their cattle properties are certified biodynamic & are on the Fleurieu Peninsula's fertile soils.
