The is a community market that operates between 9 am and 1 pm every Thursday morning at the Glenelg North Community Centre on Alison St at the corner of Kibby St Glenelg North.

It is the same location as the Glenelg North Community Garden. The market has a range of craft and food options, my friends and I bought fresh olive oil, blended teas, some jewellery and clothing.

Kids are catered for with activities and a playground.

There was fresh organic eats, chocolate products, essential oils and organic creams, soaps and lotions available from a variety of vendors.

The market is built around a "bag' concept where consumers can [re-order a $30 bag of organic fruits and vegetables, enough for a week for a single person or a couple. The bag is supplied at wholesale prices with a $5 handling fee. There is a swap facility so the contents can be exchanged if needed, for a particular reason.

Bags are available at 9 am having been stuffed by volunteers that morning. Not, if you keen and struggling financially, volunteers are always needed and receive a free bag.

There is an excellent organic green grocery accompanying the market with modest prices and good quality organic produce.

I am planning to become a regular, it's such a great deal, and friendly atmosphere.
