A secret rainforest retreat
If you are looking for a week, weekend or just a day trip, look no further then O'Reilly's, based in the lush surrounds of Lamington National Park.

After we ate lunch we decide to go out and feed the birds.
It costs $4 for the seed, and a $10 deposit for the tray (if you do not have $10, they will also accept licence or car keys).

There are multiple walks that you can complete. They are for all different fitness levels. Guided tours are also offered.

We completed 2 walks on our visit as we ran out of time.

We completed the Tree-top walk.

The tree top walk is approximately 15 meters above the ground. It is made up of 9 suspension bridges.

If you are brave, you can even climb 30 meters up the fig tree for a breathtaking view of Lamington National Park.

We also completed the Wishing Tree and Mick's Tower

walk.

The wishing tree track is a beautiful walk, approximately 2.4kms return. You will wander over a suspension bridge, which spans over a fern gully.

On your return trip, take a sharp left, and follow the path to Mick's tower.

Mick's tower is name after the first National Park ranger, Mick O'Reilly. Mick's tower is 18 meters tall. When you stand up the top, you really do feel at peace in the lush rain forest.

I can safely say we will be visiting O'Reilly's again to explore more of the tracks and this gorgeous place. It is great fun for families, friends and keen nature lovers.
