One Pot lunch (small) - some of the food available through Order-In
Are you organising an event and looking for something delish, healthy and drool-worthy at the click of a mouse?
Launched in Sydney in 2000, Order-In draws together over 120 high quality catering options in the one spot for you to choose from, taking the hassle out of organising catering.
Simply browse the options online and make your selection. Ordering catering doesn't get much easier than this.
Anyone who needs food for the office need never lament again over how to cater for gluten-free and other dietary requirements. Order-In specializes in catering to dietary restrictions including gluten free, dairy free, and vegan diets.
Gone are the days of the boring corporate lunch, limited to sandwiches and stodgy sausage rolls. Fresh salads, sushi and fruit platters feature while something vegetarian is offered with every order.
Order-In even has it's own organic caterer – O Catering, servicing the Sydney area.
My experience I recently had my own experience of O Catering's healthful organic food through Order-In.
Ordering from Order-In's internet catering platform was a simple, stress-free experience. However, the biggest bonus was browsing the food first, which includes the visual aspect of being able to look at photographs – always good to see what you're getting.
O Catering's selection is surprisingly fresh and inventive. My order included Indian spiced tofu and brown rice rolls, Vietnamese rice paper rolls, inside out nori rolls, mini quiches, wraps, beetroot and walnut salad, and an Asian style salad.
Sweet parcels of tastiness, the Vietnamese rice paper rolls were my personal favourite. On the other end of the spectrum of the office ham sandwich on white bread, the Indian spiced tofu and brown rice rolls were spicy, exotic and satisfying. Equally healthy and delicious, the wholesome wraps come freshened with crunchy salad veggies and flavoured with spicy sauces. Nothing boring here.
O-Organic finger food - no more boring office sandwiches
Another fave was the Asian rice noodle salad. Packed with spinach, smoked tofu, ginger and chilli, it was a flavoursome, restaurant standard meal of its own.
My snack attack ended with a perfect finale. Oooh, those dark chocolate and raspberry brownies – think a cherry ripe crossed with a brownie with a moist, almost juicy texture. Since then I've been madly browsing the internet in search of a recipe.
Other items available through O catering include many innovative and tempting salad options, assorted quiches, gluten free cookies, spelt muffins, banana bread, fruit skewers and more.
All in all, my Order-In experience was a pleasant and surprising one.

Catering that makes an impression
According to Muna Jaddou, Order-In's brand manager, their aim is to make their customer's shine. "In the customer's mind they are concerned about the catering being late or looking shabby," she says. "No one wants to look bad in front of their boss. Our aim is to make them look like stars."
Order-In's happy customers include Bupa, Colgate and Lendlease.
Muna reveals Order-In has worked closely with BUPA to create a dietician approved range of low fat and low cal menus. She says that 50 per cent of all orders have some form of special diet requirement, such as gluten free, dairy free, vegan, etc.
