If you like the tropical exotic orchids here is "the place" to visit this spring. The New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx offers the largest orchid exhibition in North America. This year they feature French botanist and artist Patrick Blanc's Vertical Gardens.

The exhibit is filled with countless kinds of orchids from all over the world. It is quite a breathtaking. The exhibit is definitely different from the past years if you have seen.

Greeting you is a high wall of various orchids in the fountain

There are also different gardens and facilities that you may want to check out before or after the Orchid Exhibit such as the Children's Adventure Garden, the brand new Azalea Garden that was just completed and opened last year, the Family Garden, and many more. There are tram cars running through the garden by schedules if you feel like enjoying the garden without having to walk (kids also enjoy that very much). The garden ground and facilities are wheel chair accessible.

There are 2 restaurants on the property or if you plan to bring sandwiches and drink, there's a nice picnic area with gazebos.

The Orchid Exhibit runs until April 22.

The Garden is open year-round, Tuesday - Sunday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Right now you can get discount tickets with or you can get tickets directly from the Garden at "Get ticket".

The garden also offers gorgeous setting for evening cocktails and live DJs for a special and romantic night. You can get discounted tickets from here.

Spring is here and where else would you rather be than in a garden.
