Colour me Brisbane

Welcome to my house and once you have had a rest and a refreshing drink, from my mandarin tree, I am going to take you on a Brisbane adventure as you have never seen it.

It's lovely to be able to wander along some of the bike paths in the city, and the suburbs.

There are plenty of them scattered around, so take a little time out of your busy day to enjoy the plants and the trees before catching the bus.

The bus may take us to some select stops in the city. The City's Anglican Cathedral which has only just been completed to admire one of its many beautiful stained glass windows, before heading into St George's Square to see the magnificent Brisbane City Hall with its imposing and significant frieze by Daphne Mayo.

A walk through Brisbane Arcade will show you some of the finest shops of Brisbane, not least Dale's great Hat Box.

If the season is right, don't forget to pop into the EKKA for something a little larger then life.

Or if the fancy takes you, head down to Nudgee and do some crab fishing for an excellent dinner with a cracking sunset.
