I decided to go for a walk around the leafy streets of Kew and was presently surprised with a small, boutique cafe called Ora Cafe. It was a Monday and I went in and sipped on a coffee and munched on a yummy carrot cake with icing. The cake was so fresh it fell apart! Delicious.

The patrons seemed to be of the Uni kind, but in no way grungy. The space inside is small, but there are tables out the front. This cafe is a quite a little gem suitable for academics, professional locals, couples and singles.

Probably leave the pram at home and take kids elsewhere I say, its not that kind of scene. Ora Cafe is among a quiet little quaint shopping strip with a newsagent, osteopath and a small supermarket just across the road.
