Operantics is proudly presenting Strauss' 'Die Fledermaus' for a strictly limited season this April - 4 performances only.

Held at The Independent Theatre, 'Die Fledermaus' is Strauss' most beloved operetta. It is full of farce, fun, and mistaken identity and makes for great family entertainment these Easter school holidays.

Operantics is an independent opera company dedicated to presenting high quality, affordable opera productions and this new production brings Manhattan in the roaring 20s with a brand new libretto.

It's the evening of Prince Orlofsky's ball and Gabriel von Eistenstein is evading prison to attend with the help of his friend, Dr. Falke, who secretly bears him a grudge. Meanwhile his wife, Roselinde, fights of the advances of a persistent suitor, and follows Eisenstein to the ball in disguise, intending to catch him in a flirtation. Their starstruck maid, Adele, is scheming too, attending Orlofsky's ball in the hopes of impressing a Broadway producer.
