With spring here once again and summer the next season, this also means that Christmas is just around the corner yet again!
There are so many functions that people can attend around this period of time, and this one looks like a very exciting one that will be loads of fun for all!
You are invited to enjoy the spectacular show as the Christmas celebrations and lights brighten up the Geelong spectacular Floating Christmas Tree.
Christmas trees are a great pride for many people in this day and age, with so many electronic and amazing items and decorations hanging on them.
If you head to the waterfront on 8th November from 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm, you are sure to be entertained with a special one-night-only event. It will be held at Geelong Waterfront.
There will be performers and programs which will be added soon. The event is actually made for the whole family, including young children and it will be an early evening event. It will culminate in a short fireworks presentation as well as the mentioned lighting of the floating Christmas tree.
As well as all this, the organisers will also turn on the Christmas projections at City Hall on this night. So after you have seen the tree, wander up to City Hall to check this out.
Following the opening night, the floating Christmas Tree light show will be staged each night from 8.30 pm until midnight. This will happen at approximately 6-minute intervals every 15 minutes.
This is the sixth installation of Geelong's floating Christmas tree and you will not want to miss seeing this one at least once!
For Christmas in Geelong 2019, there will be three different shows to experience. Make sure to visit the waterfront to see them all. Each has a different light show and music production which will be worth catching and spending some time there.
The last night to see the floating Christmas tree is 7th January and this will align with Orthodox Christmas.
