Discover the dynamic arts community of the Sunshine Coast with the
2023 Open Studios Art Trail Guide, as artists and galleries open their doors for ten days throughout the Sunshine Coast region. Showcasing an awe-inspiring collective of seventy-seven artists and galleries, visitors are offered the unique opportunity to meet talented Sunshine Coast artists, in their own creative space and environment.

Everyone is invited to the Launch Party, but make sure to book first!
The
Open Studios Launch Party kicks off on Saturday 13 May between 1.00pm and 4.00pm at
Sunshine & Sons in Yandina. Guests will enjoy a variety of delicious food, including pizza and a big grazing platter, plus two free drinks per guest, all while soaking up the vibe and atmosphere of the rich and diverse Sunshine Coast art scene.

A unique Gallery experience awaits on the Hinterland tourist drive
The curated Open Studios art trail encompasses both the Sunshine Coast region's coastline, from Caloundra to Coolum, as well as taking in the Hinterland tourist hotspots like Maleny and Montville, on a separate weekend.
Throughout this ten-day event, the community are able to take self-guided tours to meet the local artists in person; view artistry in action; purchase art; participate in workshops and gain a new appreciation for the creativity of local talent.

Quirky garden retreats ...
Ranging from backyard sheds, shipping containers, warehouses, and gallery studios, to some quirky garden retreats, art enthusiasts and collectors can visit the artists' inner sanctums to experience firsthand the energy, that inspires the Sunshine Coast's talented creatives. During the Open Studios event, there are twenty-four hands-on, innovative and creative workshops to be held over five days, that are available to visitors to experience art making. Workshops and Events
In 2023, Open Studios Sunshine Coast is offering visitors the opportunity to be personally involved in workshops, to learn and create with the artists, who are very excited to be able to demonstrate and share their skills, ideas and insights.
Visitors can try painting, collage, charcoal seascapes, macro photography, mono-printing and heaps more! No experience is necessary, art lovers and creators at any level, are welcome to get involved. Children are welcome too.
