Fontanelle offers free open studio drop-ins each Saturday
Innovative, established local artist Brigid Noone (pictured above right - with new work exhibit by Sydney artist Paul Williams) and her team at Fontanelle Gallery & Studios has successfully transformed and activated the historic old Port Adelaide Post Office building into a thriving, socially inclusive, contemporary arts hub, and through partnership with City of Port Adelaide Enfield are now offering free open-studio drop-in workshops (as pictured below right) on Saturdays, from 11.30am-3.30pm
With collaborative funding and support through YourSAy's Fund My Idea, City of Port Adelaide Enfield and Renew Adelaide - Fontanelle Gallery & Studios co-directors/co-founders and established local artists Brigid Noone and Ben Leslie have been able to relocate from Bowden to the historic old Port Adelaide Post Office at 175 St Vincent Street, Port Adelaide, to create what has fast become a contemporary visual arts hub which is accessible and socially inclusive to all.
If you want to explore the artist in you and receive valuable mentoring from Brigid Noone - Fontanelle Gallery & Studios Open Studio Drop-In Workshop is currently being held each Saturday, from 11.30am until 3.30pm and may be just your cup of tea (or coffee)! Budding artists of all ages and stages are welcome to bring an art project they are already working on, or participate in the weekly offering of a variety of creative activities, through the materials provided. Come for an hour or stay for the whole session - enjoy a coffee and chat with like-minded people, in a welcoming, friendly and supportive environment.
