Open Inner West Festival is back! Over ten days, revel in sixty-nine cultures across the inner west.
Interact with diverse communities from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, established and newly arrived and refugee groups who have come up with a variety of ways to share their culture with you.
From dance workshops with the Gamarada Boys and an exhibition opening night at Boomalli (the official launch of the festival) to cooking classes with new and emerging communities to Hip Hop performances and break dancing battles exploring young people’s cultural identity. The Festival will end with the official close at the Refugee Welcome Centre in Callan Park with the New Beginnings Festival for Refugee Week.
