Meet the neighbours in theatrical performances in the burbs
Here is your chance to be a part of an intimate theatre experience, whereby ordinary people tell personal stories in their own homes.

These 15 everyday storytellers span an array of ages, living arrangements, and cultural backgrounds. Each experience lasts for half an hour or thereabouts, ranges between afternoon and evening, and there are extremely limited seats available, due to the stories being presented in private homes. Each Experience will be repeated four times across the open homes season.

For promotional purposes, performances will be identified as either South Brisbane or North Brisbane, and audience members will meet at a pre-arranged spot, from where they will be guided to the performers chosen venue.

Three of the fifteen shows include honouring an Indian families heritage through food and cooking - Life Recipes; combining two worlds in In Pursuit of Love, and memories of past adventures in Keepsakes, Boxes and Treasures.

This festival has been described as "a big and generous invitation to meet the neighbours".

Open Homes
runs from 25th October until 10 November.
