With ample evidence behind them to show that South Australians love their gardens, the team behind are back again in 2017, with more splendid gardens, more tips and more fun for everyone.



Throughout South Australia, many inspirational garden owners have spent hours over winter prepping their garden for the biggest and best Open Gardens season yet with some 31 gardens scheduled for opening. The complete schedule of openings for this Spring is as follows:

Etre Winter, Willunga : 27 August

  • This terraced garden descends to a creek with bushland stretching up the hill on the other side

  • Most gardens are open from 10am to 430pm with an entrance fee of $8 per person or $6 for OGSA members and concession card holders. Entrance fees are shared between the garden owner who generally dedicates them to a local or personal charity, and to OGSA. And in keeping with the spirit of having a great day out, a number of gardens will provide morning/afternoon teas, music, plant sales and advice.
