Farm tours, demonstrations, product tastings and more

The popular 'Open Farm Day' returns on Sunday, 7th April with 16 farms and local producers across Nillumbik and Whittlesea opening their gates!

This is your chance to visit working farms, meet local farmers and discover more about local farming, including fruit and veggies, livestock and animals, orchards and vineyards, flowers and food.

You are welcome to follow the trail, or just visit the farms that are of interest to you. The farmers will be happy to talk to you about what it is like to farm on the urban fringe and there will be some fresh produce to sample, as well as activities to participate in at selected farms, including farm tours, demonstrations, product tastings and more!

The Trail Map and Passport is the guide to discovering the farms and local producers for Open Farm Day. Visitors will be able to present their Open Farm Day Passport at each farm to collect a sticker. Collecting three or more stickers and completing the visitor survey allows entry to the prize draw, featuring some amazing prizes!
