Open Day @ Illawarra Lapidary Club House
Lapidary is known as the practice of shaping stone, minerals or gemstones into decorative shapes for jewellery, carvings, ornaments etc. Although an ancient craft that goes back to the Stone Age, Lapidary is a favourable hobby for many who wish to make jewellery and other items.

On Sunday 2nd May 2021 at the Illawarra Lapidary Club, a FREE Open Day is to be held. There will be stalls selling gemstones, fossils, rough, minerals, handcrafted jewellery and books. If this is a craft you would like to know more about, then this event is for you.
If you would like to stay for refreshments, morning tea homemade cakes and goodies will be available for purchase, with all proceeds from these sales going to the Cancer Council's Big Morning Tea Charity.
A sausage sizzle and drinks will be also available for purchase at lunchtime.
