Come one come all to Linnwood House
There is no stopping the group of dedicated volunteers at the Friends of Linnwood House, as once again, they are holding an Open Day at the Historical House of Linnwood, situated in the beautiful suburb of Guildford.
People who have attended an open day cannot wait until the next one, as there is so much to see and do. The 8th of July 2018 Open Day will be bigger and better than before with so many exhibitions and stalls, so it's going to take you a few hours to get around and see everything.
There will be an exhibition by the Wentworth Quilters, a stall with Volunteers from the Bislington Medical & Nursing Museum, the Hawkesbury Valley Lapidary Club will be on show and the Western Sydney Woodturners and the Traditional Tools Group are back again.
While there check out the sppon collection. Image courtesy of the Friends of Linnwood House.
Inside Linnwood House, you will find the Holroyd Art & Craft Society, the Spoon Collectors Club of NSW and all the other assorted stalls. While inside, you should take the time to check out the interior and sit down and enjoy a wonderful Devonshire tea and cake. As usual, the sausage sizzle will be on fire.
Plenty of arts and Craft on Display. Image courtesy of the Friends of Linnwood House.
While walking around the site, you will be able to check out the wonderfully restored vehicles from American Independent's Car Display, including the Studebaker car club, Packard Automobile car club of Australia, Hudson-AMC car club, Auburn Cord Duesenberg car club, AMC Rambler club, Wills-Overland-Knight-Registry, WW11 Jeeps NSW while grabbing yourself a coffee from the Café Influence coffee van and listening to the sounds of the City of Holroyd Brass Band.
I have been to a number of the Friends of Linnwood Open Days over the years, and I have not been disappointed yet. So get your family and friends together and check out the July Open Day at Linnwood House.
