I am a freelance writer and photographer from Sydney who has now had five books published on fishing. I also write for the NSW Fishing Monthly, Visit the Shire, Fisho App & Tackle Tactics.
I also like to travel and experience new things to do.
Come one, come all to Linnwood House
Once again you can't keep the Friends of Linnwood down, as they have gone to so much effort to bring an Open Day at Linnwood House that will have something for everyone who visits.
These open day by the Friends of Linnwood House are always a great event.
There will be cars from the Mustang Owners Club that will be on show for all to see. While there you will be able to talk to the owners about how they have lovingly restored these great cars. To keep the beat up-tempo the City of Holroyd Brass Band will beat out a number of great tunes.
Love them or hate them. Ford does build a great Mustang. Image courtesy of Wikipedia.
Inside this great building, you will find the Cumberland Branch of the NSW Justices Association that will be able to provide advice and guidance on matters relating to JP's activities.
If you are into orchids like I am you will be able to check out the display by the Fairfield District Orchid Society. Maybe they will have some of these great flowers on sale. To find out you can contact the organisers. Once again, the Carnival Glass Collectors Association will have a number of items on display.
If you are looking for some hand made arts and craft the Holroyd Art and Craft Society will be on hand to display their wares. If you are into turning a piece of timber, you can always check out the Western Sydney Woodturners creations and the Traditional Tools Group will also be there.
Whether you have been to one of the Open Day before or this is your first time you will have a great day viewing the magnificent vehicles that they have on display, plus everything thing else that is going on. Maybe you too will get a couple of sausages from the sausage sizzle from the BBQ or coffee and cake inside Linnwood House.
I just love a coffee and cake while at Linnwood House. Image by Gary Brown.
