Edith Cowan University and the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts are opening its doors to the Mount Lawley Campus so you can explore behind-the-scenes of what life and study are really like at Australia's top public university. Keep Sunday 12 August 2018 from 10am to 3pm free, for this unique opportunity at the Mt Lawley Campus, 2 Bradford St, Mount Lawley. Check the brochure for all details of events, and head to the event discussion page on Facebook for all updates and conversations.

Some of the highlights of this event are the Arts and Humanities - Radio ECU Launch. Join media personalities at the WA's newest station with state-of-the-art studios in Building 13. Go behind-the-scenes at Building 1 for information sessions, demonstrations, performances and much more with WAAPA (WA Academy of Performing Arts). Head to information sessions about Business and Law (building 3) and Teacher Education (building 17) and learn about undergraduate and postgraduate business and law studies and more, and find out if being a teacher is the right career choice for you. Perhaps Criminology is more your niche. Pick the Suspect in building 3 (1-1.30pm) will test your powers of observation to see if you could identify an offender.

If all else fails and confusion reigns, head to the ever popular interactive mind reader between building 17 and 18 and see if you can predict your future career. It's not all about studies; head to food street near building 10 if you start getting tummy rumbles and get yourself some brain food. There's a convoy of food trucks ready to deal with any kind of hunger.

Perth Wildcats players will also be on campus outside building 6, with giveaways throughout the day, and Famous Sharron who is very famous for nothing at all, will be roaming the campus with details of all the exciting events and activities happening across the day. If you love freebies, visit hit92.9 Black Thunders between building 13 and 17 to dominate your mates in Table Tennis or turn yourself into a gif at the photo booth. You might even win an $800 voucher to spend on some of the hottest concert and event tickets in town! As you can see, there's more than enough to fill your day. Scour the brochure for finer details of all the exciting events and their timeframes and locations for tours, information sessions, exhibitions and more.
