Do you love planes? Join thousands of other like-minded people at the Canberra Airport Open Day between 9:30am - 1:30pm on Sunday 3rd of April. Visitors to the Open Day can climb aboard aircraft from Qantas, Qantas Link, Virgin Australia and operational RAAF aircraft. There will also be older planes with a display from the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society. Learn more about the aircraft and ask questions about their fascinating history.
Starting from 10:30am, there also will be half hourly aerial acrobatic displays until the last display at 1pm. Keep your eyes in the sky to spot the Red Baron, Fastrack Extra and RAAF Roulettes aerobatic display.
There will also be free carnival activities for the children including a jumping castle, face painting, glitter tattoos and an animal petting paddock. The exciting Canberra Aiport Open Day is a community event for all ages to enjoy.
