Need somewhere to entertain the kids? Want to practice your strokes? Or just want a picturesque place to enjoy a relaxing swim? Well how about trying one of Sydney's open air swimming pools:

Drummoyne Swimming Centre
Address: 1P Henley Marine Drive, Drummoyne, 2047
Cost: Adult $5.60; Child $4.50 (age 4-15)
Why? 50 metre outdoor heated salt water pool, situated under the iron cove bridge (on the Bay Run), with panoramic views across the water
When?: Monday to Friday - 5.30am 7.30pm; Saturday & Sunday - 6am 6pm; Public Holidays - 8am 6pm

Maccallum pool, Cremorne Point
Address: On the Western side of Cremorne Point
Cost: Free
Why? For beautiful views across the Harbour, for free!
