It's summer and the time for Open Air Cinema again. American Express brings to 10 cities of Australia and New Zealand a delightfully entertaining series of Open Air Cinemas with some of the best flicks and great food and entertainment.
Done in true American Express style, this event is exciting, classy and promises to be the perfect summer night experience this season.
Between 29th November and 20th December 2017, Cadigal Green, Camperdown will be transformed into a summer movie venue. The movie list has some of latest and the best screenings including THOR Ragnarok, Blade Runner 2049, Murder on the Orient Express, Dirty Dancing, Bad Moms 2 and Elf among others. Select the movie of your choice and add to the experience with additional upgrades including food and drink packages, loungers or a special access pass to the American Express Invites Lounge or the Star Lounge.
General admission tickets are $20 and Amex Card members get 15% discount on that price (woohoo!). You can also upgrade your experience by paying $30 for a special American Express invites lounge pass that gives you access to a premium location with table service, bean lounger, cushion, blanket, ice-cream, popcorn and a glass of Giesen wine. Now that's definitely premium movie experience.

If you prefer making it your own picnic, no problem at all. Just grab a picnic rug and find a spot on the lovely green while you enjoy the entertainment and food before the movie. Gates open at 6 pm, so if you are ready for some live music, events or want to enjoy the crafty corner head down early to the venue. The program details have a full list of events and entertainers.

Let Salt Meats and Cheese conjure some magic into the evening with their decadent menu and Italian creations. On 3 special nights, they are hosting long table dinners with a delicious three-course meal paired with wine. If their signature dish of head honchos Stefano De Blasi and Edoardo Perlo, the truffle pecorino pasta does not get you going, you might want to take a look at their specially curated menu to find more inspiration.
In addition to the above, World Master Pizza Making Champion and Australia's Got Talent star, Youssef Touati from Salt Meats Cheese, will be flexing his credentials with pizza acrobatics before teaching guests how to toss dough like a pro.
