Whenever I drive down Unley Road or have to stop at the Unley Road/Wattle Street traffic lights, I notice OPA cafe, so I suggested to a friend that we meet there.

We were both pleasantly surprised when we went inside, the decor is modern, trendy, lots of natural light and a variety of seating styles.

As we had already had lunch we ordered the Chefs special of lemon and sugar compote crepe with ice cream and a healthy juice each to balance out the crepes.

Both were delicious. The lemon compote was really lemony although somehow balanced with sweetness.

In the cabinet are delicious looking house made cakes And a variety of protein balls.

The menu has a Greek/Australian cuisine theme. There is something on offer for any time of the day with vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options on the menu.

They serve organic custom blend coffee and have a choice of bespoke teas.

Cafe OPA has free WI FI and is licensed.

Front of house staff were friendly. Chef and owner Anastasia came out from the kitchen to say hello, she was lovely and modest when I asked her about working in London with the likes of Gordon Ramsey.

You can book for High Tea and there are tables large enough to accommodate a large group.

Cafe OPA offers a coffee reward card. Not only do you get your 10th coffee for free, it comes with a house made scone served with jam, cream or butter.

There is some parking behind in the car park or parking is available on the side street.
