With new shops opening up all the time, the Hobart CBD has become one of the best places to op shop. Grab a bargain for as a little as 50c! Most things are under $10 but some more of those special brands might be a bit more. I wear fashionable clothes for a really low price such as Surf Brands, Sports Brands, Just Jeans, Jeanswest, Portmans, Dotti, Review, Miss Shop, Lorna Jane, Valley Girl and Luca and Marc. Australian Red Cross

Sun - 10am - 3pm
Pre-loved, new and vintage clothing, homewares and accessories
Each year, Red Cross Shops save 450 tonnes of clothing from landfill, give opportunities to 4,400 volunteers, and contribute more than five million dollars a year to help fund Red Cross community programs. From daily phone calls to the elderly, clean water and sanitation for poor communities in the Asia-Pacific region or youth homelessness, Red Cross shops help change lives.

St Vincent de Paul Society

Secondhand furniture, books, music and bric-a-brac
The St Vincent de Paul Society in Australia has more than 60,000 members and volunteers, who work hard to assist people in need and combat social injustice across Australia.

Save the Children Op Shop
158 Murray St
Mon - Fri 10am - 4pm
Recycled fashion pieces, toys, books and even some vintage and modern-day gems.
Each purchase will help to create better lives for millions of children each year in Australia and overseas. With the help of supporters, Save the Children help children with health, education, emergencies, climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction. Donations of items to sell are greatly appreciated and volunteers are always needed.

Salvos Store
11 Elizabeth Street
Mon - Fri 9am - 5.30pm
Clothing for everyone, bric-a-brac, homewares, books, toys, CDs and records.
Salvos help over one million disadvantaged Australians every year. 100% of all profits fund the Salvation Army programs. They transform lives with programs to end hunger, homelessness and build stronger families and communities. Donate or volunteer in store.

City Mission Op Shops Partridge Nest

Sat 9am - 4pm
Used quality clothing, bric-a-brac and even new small electrical appliances.
Hobart City Mission has been serving the people of Southern Tasmania for over 165 years by providing emotional, physical and financial support and guidance. This has only been made possible through the generosity of our supporters and volunteers. These Op Shops form a community contact point for people in difficult times, the volunteers, a place to find secondhand hand goods and supporting Hobart City Mission (HCM) services.
