Go on this little second hand tour and grab a great bargain
If you are looking for a bargain, a quirky gift or simply want to browse some second hand stores follow this guide, which can easily be done walking. Although some of these shops are far from fancy you are still quite likely to find something for next to nothing.
Savers Noarlunga You can park your car in the parking lot and start your walk from here. Savers is by far one of the best second hand shops in the south. It has a huge variety of books, magazines, shoes and clothing for the entire family, and is very well organized into types of clothing and sizes. Don't miss their furniture section at the back, as you might find a great project or a vintage piece for your home. Find them at160-168 Beach Road, Noarlunga Centre, SA 5168.
This second hand shop has its items neatly displayed and colour matched, which really helps you visualize how a great outfit can come together with some creativity. Their volunteer staff are super friendly and they have some amazing and unique clothing and furniture. They are located at 28/24 Beach Rd, Christies Beach, SA 5165.
Oars Community Transitions Book Exchange Book lovers can finally have as many books as they want for affordable prices at this community store. Novels, poetry, sport and cook books; there is something for all tastes and interests neatly classified. You can also find some collectible books and magazines.
Right next to this little book haven there is another little op shop with very very low prices where you may find a bargain or two. Located at 63 Beach Rd,Christies Beach.
Save the Children This little shop is very well organized and sells mostly clothing for adults and children, as well as a little section of homewares and kitchen utensils. Find them at Shop 1, 48 Beach Rd.
Second Hand Paddy
With its recent opening this store is a hidden gem in the south. Iit sells mainly vintage furniture and ethnic home wares and is neatly organized so you can see everything in one glance. They have some great pieces for restoration projects. Prices are average on most things but quite cheap compared to brand new furniture shops.

Salvation Army shop
This is a medium sized store with plenty of clothing, shoes, furniture and kitchenware. Keep an eye on their furniture section as they get some unique donations which can easily be revived with some sanding and enamel.
