Due to demand Onyx have decided to offer normal a la carte service on New Years Eve. There will still be partying with a DJ, but you won't need a ticket.
If you're looking for somewhere classy to celebrate the start of the New Year, then check out the party on offer at Onyx Dessert Lounge. Party in style with their 5-hour food and drinks package, and one of Adelaide's most popular new venues.
Onyx opened its doors in late 2012, but it's already drawing quite a crowd. Their dining area wouldn't look out of place in a bubblegum pop film clip, but there's nothing tacky about it. Instead Onyx manages to mix bright and fun with just the right dose of sophistication. Sound like the type of place you'd like to spend New Year's?
Their food and drinks package includes savoury and dessert canapés, no doubt inspired by some of the choices already available on their menu, as well as reds, whites, sparkling wines, and cocktails. They'll be a DJ providing music for the night, so you can dance away while you eat, drink, and be merry.
Despite being a dessert lounge, Onyx still has a great savoury menu. Many of their meals are already designed to sharing, so their flavours and fun ideas will transfer easily to delicious canapés.
If you prebook your tickets they're $150 per person, a limited number will be available at the door for $180. So if you're thinking of going make sure you get in early for the special pre-book price. The party will kick off at 8pm, finishing around 1am.
To get you in the spirit, here are a few resolutions you might consider for the new year:
1.I will consider dessert its own meal time, and will eat dessert out at least once a month. 2.I will not admonish myself for enjoying cakes, desserts, or other sweet treats. 3.I will not drink 'cocktails' from a slushee machine. 4.I will treat myself to something special throughout the year, because I deserve it.
Do you think these are resolutions you could stick to?
