Marian St Theatre for Young People are taking their popular holiday program online for the Easter holidays with classes running from 14-24 April 2020. Quite aware that online won't replace what live theatre provides, you can still be assured they are committed to delivering excellent workshops and and content, and that's not going to change.
Presenting live performances, theatre training and drama classes for young people, programs have been modified to create an interactive, fun, dynamic learning environment. Young people can still be creative and interact with other young people while engaging with professional artists from the comfort of your own environment. SEE HERE for the classes and also the event pages on Facebook.
MSTYP's offerings include play-building, comedy writing, improvisation and Shakespeare with downloadable drama content, drama room hangouts and posted past performances. Learning drama has the amazing ability to help people empathise and there are great benefits to online learning for creative arts. It keeps you engaged, creating and learning, and it has lasting effects on Drama Education around the city while helping out small business in difficult times.
