OneNesia Mentoring Program, together with MANA Mentoring and QUTPA (Queensland University of Technology's Pasifika Association) is presenting their 5th Annual OneNesia Pasifika Panel on Thursday 18th April.

This is a free event. All are welcome and refreshments will be provided on the evening.

QUTPA represents 25 nations of the Pacific separated into 3 distinct groups: Melanesia, Polynesia and Micronesia. Together they are unified as OneNesia. The OneNesia mentoring program aims to deliver a service unique to tertiary institutions through acknowledging the significance Pasifika culture plays in everyday living. They provide support to all Māori and Pacific Island students throughout their tertiary journey paving the way for future generations to pursue the path of higher education.

MANA Mentoring is a Brisbane based NGO (Non-governmental organisation) which exists to support Pasifika peoples in Australia to thrive.

OneNesia will feature successful Pacific Island influencers from various sectors; law, technology, business, health and creative professions. Panellists will share personal experiences of managing tertiary/university study, cultural and family life while achieving goals. This is an opportunity for students and the wider community to establish networks with industry professionals, and gain knowledge and guidance from current students.
