As part of the Radisson Hotel & Suites Sydney, One on 1 Bar & Brasserie makes way for a great dining experience on all counts. This establishment caters to you whether you're a guest at this hotel, or you're just visiting the Radisson Hotel & Suites Sydney for something to eat or drink. Friday's between 4pm to 7pm would be just as compelling to make an effort to come to this end of town and let your hair down. Why? Complimentary canapes are offered during this time as part of happy hour. One on 1 Bar & Brasserie is open from 6:30am to 10pm Monday to Friday.
The buffet breakfast provided an amazing start to the day
The high tea experience is delightful. The location to enjoy a great high tea is just perfect as One on 1 Bar & Brasserie is only a block's walk to Darling Harbour. The high tea experience is designed for two people as part of the establishments High Tea Getaway package, available from now until the 8th of August 2013. The green tea blend was fresh and aromatic. A great start before tucking into the scones with cream and jam.
I also enjoyed the petite sandwiches with salmon and other salad delicacies. As a guest of the Radisson Hotel & Suites Sydney, you have the option of choosing as to whether you wish to enjoy your high tea at this bar on level 1, or whether or not you prefer to enjoy the high tea in the balcony area at your suite. The berry friand was also delicious. The grapes were untouched as the sandwiches, scones and petit fours made way for a satisfying afternoon of high tea leisure experiences. This package starts from $40 for two people, otherwise $55 for two people with champagne.
Selection of delightful pastries as part of the buffet breakfast package
The hotel's in room dining service comes from the food prepared at One on 1 Bar & Brasserie. Having been a guest at this hotel the last time I stayed here, I opted for the club sandwich ($16.50, $3 room service charge) with gluten free bread. A triple decker sandwich of eggs, bacon and chicken was just tasty with the gluten free bread. The salad that came with this dish came with some lightly dressed tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce. The chips were crispy and cooked just right with the right amount of herbs and tomato sauce.
I have also dined in at this establishment for a full buffet breakfast, as well as for high tea. For only $25 per person, all drinks are included. The hot dishes are fantastic. Every hot item I tried: the bacon, the scrambled eggs and the chiploatas made way for a satisfying breakfast experience. Also the pancakes (waffle and/or pikelets - I went with the waffle) with maple syrup were a great starter. You work hard for it, and hey why not enjoy it? It was great to also enjoy some Yakult and some Santa Vittoria. The French pastries are also delicious, leaving you thirsty for more. Alternating between the Santa Vittoria and some Orange Juice to drink was a great combination in itself.
