Half vampire Cat Crawfield is back now, but she's now Special Agent Cat Crawfield and she's working for the government, getting rid of the rouge undead. She's been using everything Bones taught her, but now someone is trying to assassinate her and only Bones, her ex can help save her.

Cat and Bones are finally back together in this book and it's better than ever. The plot in this second installment of the Night Huntress Series moves swiftly and smoothly like the first. There's tons of actions scenes and steamy scenes between Cat and Bones that will leave you wanting more. I just can't get enough of this series and can't wait to read the next book and to see what happens with Bones and Cat.

I loved the way that Bones came back into Cat's life - it went so smoothly that it didn't seem forced and their love and chemistry lit up the pages like Christmas. The dynamic with Cat's team and Bones was played out so well. The characters were very well developed and I'm very interested to see how things will work out from this book.

Great series to sink your teeth into.
